The wonders of Pinterest

Behold! I have discovered the wonders of Pinterest. It is fab for people like me that like looking at loadsa colourful stuff :)

I have found tonnes of hairstyles to try, recipes, crafty ideas and weddingy type stuff. The best thing I have found is, there is loadsa loadsa food porn! I Just love looking at puddings, can’t eat them, but love lusting after them.

I have made decorations, tried carb free bread, painted pictures, had a go at hairstyles and various cost effective body scrubs. I am constantly bookmarking things I want to buy or make with the kids, I don’t know how I lived without it.

I may turn into the worlds biggest DIYer! But why not? I have stuff which is unique and I am proud of, it’s cost effective, it is exactly the way I want it, in colours that co-ordinate with my rooms or my outfit and they look good (I hope) and with that I’m off to customise my shoes ;)

WWF cake

Cake number 2, the “other half” did the ring whilst I did the lettering and the models for the cake.

Bit tricky placing two wrestlers on top of each other without looking inappropriate to a 12 year olds eyes ;)

Minecraft cake, now my kids want one for their birthdays. What have I done? Set myself up for seeing the world in pixelated cubes forever?

WARNING!This post is not bloke appropriate you may wanna skip this one if you’re male, it doesn’t have much to do with food and is quite frankly girly!

I have been practicing 2 tone nails and I am saying practicing as I haven’t been that careful with doing them just messing about a bit. At first I thought I had made a fundimental error as I started with a dark colour (violet) and then tried a lighter colour on top. Basically you just use a base colour to paint your nails and then a cosmetic sponge to dab the second colour onto it. You have to do this a few times to build up layers.

I tried my right hand with the lighter colour first and then the dark on top and now I’m thinking I prefer the first hand!

If you pick 2 contrasting colours it will look fab, so I’m just gonna just keep messing about :D
