Seeing as though Monday was a bank holiday, our cash n carry day has been shunted to today.

I was quite frankly amazed when I saw the floor to ceiling, sweets, crisps & chocolate the first time we went to the cash and carry. Now its just a chore, you go to tesco, aldi or asda and I go to the cash and carry.

It’s a case of getting in and getting out again with what you want as quick as you can, before you spot a bargain and come out with 48 peanut butter Kit Kats ( yes I’m speaking from experience)

Blinkers required? Yes they most certainly are!

Today despite the sun blazing in through our front window we will actually be making sweet potato soup. You might think why bother on a day like this and quite frankly I wondered that myself this morning but ppl do actually seem to eat more soup in summer! Strange but true.
