I have been teaching my kids the valuable lesson of earning your own money to buy the things you want. I have been getting them to tidy their own rooms to earn pocket money, this also teaches them the value of money and they appreciate the time it takes to get things like Xbox games which are expensive.

My 5 year old Kaelan however has decided the lesson he wants to learn from this is that ppl who have spare cash, pay someone to do the jobs that they don’t like!

Hmmm I think he might of missed the point and instead made his brother 50p better off as well! Actually 50p to tidy 1 room is a steep rate I should surely earn £6 a day for tidying the whole house??? I wish
